Green Future Society promoting sustainable agriculture and forestry in Kenya

Who We Are

Green Future Society is a national non-governmental organization formed in October 2015 and officially registered in March 2016 under the Registration of Societies Act of 2005. Headquartered in Kisumu, Kenya, our work began with a simple vision to restore balance in Kenya's environment by addressing the growing gaps in tree cover and climate resilience.

What started as a grassroots movement has grown into a recognized voice for climate action across Western Kenya and beyond. Over the years, we have partnered with local communities, schools, and government institutions to restore ecosystems through tree planting, environmental education, and climate-smart practices.

Today, Green Future Society continues to expand its reach into vulnerable counties with critical tree cover needs, ensuring that no community is left behind in the fight against climate change.
